What Guests Are Saying
Ives Run is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious sites, friendly staff, and a scenic location near Hammond Lake. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, the peaceful atmosphere, and the variety of outdoor activities available, such as fishing, hiking, and biking. Some minor issues were noted, including inconveniences with sewer hookups and limited availability for late-season bookings, but overall, campers had a great experience and expressed a strong desire to return.

Ives Run is one of our favorite campgrounds. Great location, large sites and very peaceful. Huge shoutout to the maintenance worker named Alan who helped us out with an electrical issue on the pedestal at our site as we were setting up our 5th wheel camper. He identified the issue quickly and then proceeded to fix the issue very efficiently and thoroughly on a Sunday evening. Saved us from having to move to another site! Thank you!

It was a super experience specially the lake made it beautiful. The place was clean, no insects perfect conditions. The fire grate was very good. The place was quiet and great neighbours made it a very pleasant experience.

We love this campground and make an annual fall trip. The sites are large and well spaced apart.
Campers need to know that there is no camp store or firewood. This year we also found the laundry facilities closed which was disappointing if you are staying for an extended period. The town of Wellsboro is a short drive away and a lovely place to visit. The Welcome Center on the way to Mansfield is a must stop as it has a wealth of information about all areas of Pennsylvania.

Ives Run is a stunning campground, and I was thrilled to visit. As a full-time traveler, I’m used to briefly touring a campground to choose the best site for my truck and camper, as online maps and photos don’t always capture the view or site conditions. However, my experience was marred within minutes of arrival. A volunteer host confronted me while I was reserving an empty spot online, speaking to me in a condescending and disrespectful manner. I understand the need to manage the grounds, but a touch of compassion and understanding would have gone a long way. It felt like the host let their authority go to their head. I’ve visited countless campgrounds across the U.S. and have never been treated this way. Despite this, the campground itself is beautiful, and the ranger was friendly. Just be sure to reserve your site online before driving in to avoid any issues.

Restrooms need to be cleaned on a regular basis. They were cleaned once on our 2 week stay.

Very nice clean campground. Host very friendly and helpful. Site 67 had a beautiful view of the lake between the trees.

Why do so many sites sit empty day after day while you're website shows them as reserved. These sites don't ever have tags on their posts showing someone has reserved them but not shown up. It doesn't appear your website has an accurate depiction of what actually available.

The sites are a great size, and flat. We love the ones near the lake.

I like the campground but the site was full of cigarette butts and the grass was really tall.
