Ives Run is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious sites, friendly staff, and a scenic location near Hammond Lake. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, the peaceful atmosphere, and the variety of outdoor activities available, such as fishing, hiking, and biking. Some minor issues were noted, including inconveniences with sewer hookups and limited availability for late-season bookings, but overall, campers had a great experience and expressed a strong desire to return.

I drove 4 hours only to find out from the camp ground host that hammock's are not allowed. I did not see this listed anywhere in the rules on your website. I ended up sleeping in my vehicle. I am involved in scouting and quite a few in our unit use hammocks responsibly with tree saver straps. This should be prominently stated.

Ives Run is such a great place to camp. My family has been camping there for over 20 years. I had been away for about the last 10 years and it was wonderful to go back and see and feel how great it is. Thank you so much

We enjoyed camping at Ives Run.
Make sure you check on distance from power and water connections because some sites are quite far (listed in site info). The pine creek rail trail was a great ride. We started at darling run and went 17 miles one way without crossing a road except for a small dirt road to a camp. This was great, but bad if you have a bike problem so make sure to have equipment with you.

Ives run is always a good choice. I love the ability to just walk around, take the dog in the stroller, or bike. The sites are always clean and spacious. Can’t wait to go back.

Love the sites! Love the couple that have been camp host for years. They are always helpful, friendly, and very polite. It’s camper friendly and most of the time quiet.

Nice long weekend at Ives Run COE. We were there after season so no swimming. Saw bald eagles, took nice walks and enjoyed riding bikes. We stayed in the Hickory loop and thankfully followed notice on reservation page stating we may need a long hose & an extension cord. Depending on the site the power/water connection could be a LONG ways away so be prepared. Our only complaint was the acorns falling onto our motorhome day & night. ;-)
I'm certain we will camp there again.
