The campsites are still nice and we’re able to play in the creek. But the swimming area it was closed all about two days we were there for the entire week. Something needs to be done about the geese and the bacteria level they leave so we can actually swim. The store has been closed for two years. I get that nobody wants to take that over. With the laundry, right there is next to the restrooms and that’s locked. I feel like the camp staff can easily take care of laundry and make it accessible to the campers. It’s kind of a nice feature that seems the campground doesn’t care about. Also, the camp host we’re not that friendly they had negative things to say when they talk to you and every once in a while, they would just say hi to try and be nice.

We love this campground, but the lawn care needs to improve.

We always have a great time staying here. It would be so much nicer, if the grass was cut. Although it can’t be helped by the staff, there sure were a lot of barking dogs around us this time. Barking now and then can’t be helped but all the time? Geesh

Whoever designed the mown trails down from Hickory to the water's edge was brilliant. An excellent feature.

We had tent equipment for site 114 but was unable to find decent ground to put up our equipment, also the weather was torrential rain. While trying to set up we noticed water flowing through the site like a river; because of these issues we could not stay. We tore down what we could and went home. We came back the next day for the rest of our equipment and never finished our 2 week stay. We normally enjoy camping at Ives Run, it's a beautiful campground with great sites but this trip everything that could go wrong did. As a final note; for days that area where the park is located had continued bad weather causing flooding and other problems. VERY DISAPPOINTING! Also site 114 is not condusive to tenting. Recommend camper only.

We enjoyed riding on the walk/bike trail that took us into Wellsboro and had a great lunch. We went the PA Grand Canyon and hiked the trail for the first time. Magnificent views!!!
