What Guests Are Saying
Ives Run is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious sites, friendly staff, and a scenic location near Hammond Lake. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, the peaceful atmosphere, and the variety of outdoor activities available, such as fishing, hiking, and biking. Some minor issues were noted, including inconveniences with sewer hookups and limited availability for late-season bookings, but overall, campers had a great experience and expressed a strong desire to return.

It was really hot weather when we were there. We didn't do everything as planned. It was really dusty out at the Pine camp where we stayed, I would like to see something sprayed on the roadway to hold down the dust, otherwise it was nice.

Beautiful location and facilities. Huge sites with mature trees and tons of green space. Sites are angled and staggered so when you're chillin you're not staring into your neighbor's window. There were tons of kids but it was still very quiet. Plus, no golf carts to run you over. An engaging ranger stopped us on the way to kayaking to gave us a free whistle (which we didn't know was mandatory safety equipment) and a promotional towel. Couldn't have been friendlier. Camp hosts were a bit aggressive about parking.

very nice lot clean the only issue was the one small bathroom. Although there were two porta potties. Previously there was a larger bathroom facility although it was getting older. Hopefully they will design and build a larger bathroom.

We live only 20 minutes from Ives Run, but it is such a nice location, we go there often. The campground is extremely well maintained, the sites are spacious and the landscape with the lake is beautiful.

Hickory utility posts are distant and awkward. My site not level. Hickory bathhouses good. My biggest complaint is the trails are not maintained. Too overgrown to use. I chose the campground because I saw hiking trails on map, but once there I couldn’t use.

We have stayed at Ives Run many times over the years. The campground is always well kept and patrolled for security. Our main activities are riding our bicycles on the Pine Creek Trail, visiting Wellsboro book stores, and eating at local restaurants. Ives Run is just about two hours from our home which makes it very convenient. We usually camp there twice each year normally in June and September.

We were in Hawthorne section. Loved site. Went kayaking on lake twice. Was 2 hours of relaxation. Beautiful lake to enjoy outdoor fun. Park is always clean. Will be back in August.
