What Guests Are Saying
Ives Run is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious sites, friendly staff, and a scenic location near Hammond Lake. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, the peaceful atmosphere, and the variety of outdoor activities available, such as fishing, hiking, and biking. Some minor issues were noted, including inconveniences with sewer hookups and limited availability for late-season bookings, but overall, campers had a great experience and expressed a strong desire to return.

Only upsetting thing is I was sick Saturday night and had to leave early Sunday morning and we left our American flag behind. I thought for sure someone would turn it in. It was very special to us. We asked and no one turned it in very disappointed

Camping enjoyment largely depends on fellow campers behaviors such as respecting others and the camp. Lack of an on-duty ranger is negatively impacting this camp ground.

This is a bit of a complete and there is probably nothing you can do about it. Several of us who enjoy camping at state parks have found that people will book several campsites in a row and then may be only use them on Saturday Sunday and they are not available through the week. Maybe they are senior citizens and feel that they can afford to lose 40 bucks a night by not being there but those of us that really want to camp and get on the website can't find anything available. Like I said I guess there is nothing you can do about it but it is certainly irritating to a lot of people that I have talked to. When I booked I was running for Jeune there was only one available in the loop we were in, but when we were up there there were six or seven that were open the whole time.

Great campground. Large level sites. Bathrooms outdated but clean. Beach area small but nice.

Great campground to take the kids!(grandkids) We loved the sites we had, and were pretty centrally located for what we wanted to do.......swim area, playground, boat docks, and camp store. The only disappointment was the camp store.....they dont have much more than basic stuff, and even that is limited. They do have ice cream, which was a bonus. We had 2 sites side by side, with one camper and 2 tents. Everyone enjoyed the camping!

bathrooms are horrible! Site flooded - literally had water under my steps as the water had no place to drain. Other sites not affected by same rain fall. Electric needs re run to avoid power cords going through standing water
