What Guests Are Saying
Ives Run is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious sites, friendly staff, and a scenic location near Hammond Lake. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, the peaceful atmosphere, and the variety of outdoor activities available, such as fishing, hiking, and biking. Some minor issues were noted, including inconveniences with sewer hookups and limited availability for late-season bookings, but overall, campers had a great experience and expressed a strong desire to return.

we always get site 150. Nice view of the lake, close to the water faucet and dumpster. We had to laugh at the new "out house". I feel bad for the tenters, only one hole. They did bring in a port o potty. Glad we have a travel trailer with our own bathroom.

Site number 29 should be removed as a camping site and made into a walkway that crosses the bridge and continues to the store. Not fair to the people that rented the site having others cutting through all the time. Also need more detail to lawn upkeep and trimming.

We absolutely love the park. The bathrooms desperately need some updating in the Hawthorne loop though. The grass was extremely long for most of our stay they did cut it 3/4 of the way through our stay but it was still long in some areas .

High voltage concerns on site 50 were disregarded. Ranger said it was usually camper's equipment. But we are at our summer campground now, and there is no issue whatsoever. We were told a maintenance guy would come over, but all we saw was one who just kept going by. The camp host and ranger together listened to me within 30 minutes of arrival. The host suggested trying a dog bone, but we had faith in our EMS. I sure hope they get it fixed. I just tried to use the contact form on the Army COE website, but naturally it's not working for me today. Both legs should not add up to more than 240, at least I didn't think they could, but they did. Happy we didn't fry.

The grass had not been mowed in a while and was very tall. My brother in law ended up with a tick on him just from setting up the camper in the tall grass, has to be on antibiotics from the bite. The camp store was not open, very unkempt around it, weeds in the flower beds, bags of ice were left to melt in the ice freezer and it was full of empty bags, the store was locked, but you could look in the door, it was filthy. No weed eating has been done and weeds were high around all the sites. Very disappointed in how it is being taken care of.
