What Guests Are Saying
Ives Run is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious sites, friendly staff, and a scenic location near Hammond Lake. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, the peaceful atmosphere, and the variety of outdoor activities available, such as fishing, hiking, and biking. Some minor issues were noted, including inconveniences with sewer hookups and limited availability for late-season bookings, but overall, campers had a great experience and expressed a strong desire to return.

We were in a travel trailer on site 90 with full hookups. Site was spacious and had a partial view of the lake. Kayaking on the lake was awesome, also plenty of places to hike and bike.

Always enjoy our time at Ives Run. Nice sights, good fishing and close access to bike trails.

The electric and water hookups were at least 50 ft. away from camper. We were first time campers and did not have extension cord to go that far. Luckily we had nice neighbors the lent us an extension cord.

Very disappointing to see a federal campground has no recycle bins for campers to use. The lawn crew should be more respectful whey they are flying around campers throwing grass everywhere and mowing very close to vehicles and items at our site. It is sad that the government does not seem to be supporting parks like these so that they can be maintained properly. Despite these issues, this park remains one of our favorites and we will be back for many years to come. The sites are large, the campground is peaceful and offers many great opportunities for star gazing, biking, kayaking, fishing, boating, and hiking.

The bathroom situation was horrible. We are currently unsure if we will ever return. The primitive area went from 1 men's toilet and a urinal and women's was 3 stalls to 1 one toilet for the number of sights it was unexceptionable

Except for the rainy weather, which can't be helped, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The campsite was clean and the full hookups were great - although a little far away, but we were prepared for that as we have camped at Ives Run for many years. We both loved the proximity to the Pine Creek Trail and went on rides the days it didn't rain...so much fun. My husband had a great time fishing in the lake. We've now stayed in every loop and can't really pick a favorite. We'll be back in July!
