What Guests Are Saying
East Branch Campground offers a peaceful and clean environment, perfect for relaxation and enjoying nature, with stunning views and a large lake for boating and fishing. Visitors appreciate the campground's remote location, friendly staff, and engaging activities for families, such as the exploratory building run by knowledgeable Army Corps workers. While some amenities, like a playground and improved dump station access, could be enhanced, many campers express their intention to return for another restful stay.

We were in site 22. A pull thru site, kind of. One end was steep. Camper would have dragged. Site was big and fairly level. Lots of nice sites there. Very quiet, Went to Kinzua bridge state park from East Branch.

The campsites are nice but the road going into the camp ground is horrible....they really need to get a load of stone and fill it in. Also, they have a great exhibit building but its hardly ever open.

Great, small campground above the East Branch Dam. Sites are secluded, wooded and spaced out. Bathhouse and showers are very clean. There are small, rustic cabins with a double/single bunk and small table. All of the staff we met were kind and accommodating. They opened up their educational center for us and the kids spent a good 2 hours playing with the interactive exhibits. The dump area is at an odd location at the entrance. If many people are waiting to use it, I can see where things would get backed up quickly. Quick access by car to the boat launch for the lake or the launch for the river and a short 5 min drive to Bendigo SP if you want to swim. Cell service is in and out, but to be honest, that's a plus in my book. Small playground and a Cornhole area. We walked across the dam, which was nice. This is a great place if you want to get away from people, get your kids off their devices and let them explore nature!

We have a 33-foot fifth wheel that was very difficult to get to the site. The road was a one-way road, but we had to go in the opposite direction. There was no drinking water, and the dump site was in a spot that was difficult to get to also it is downhill, so our tanks did not dump. We were only there for 2 nights. On some sites the electric is on the wrong side for the camper trailers.

We had Cabin #4 and it was great. Nice, quiet area; mattresses and table addition to the Cabin very nice. Sat on the deck, nice and dry, during a thunderstorm it was so nice not to get everything wet!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this campground.
The campground lot had enough space for setting up our camping gear and cars. You won't have to worry about being cramped up next to your neighbors, as each camping spot offers plenty of room for relaxation.
One of the highlights of this campground is the presence of shower and restroom facilities. The availability of these amenities ensures a comfortable stay for all campers. Additionally, there is access to water for washing plates.
For families with young children, this campground provides a playground. I noticed that the campground provides cabins for rent also.
Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the presence of two walking trails. One trail goes through a scenic forest. The other trail is located near a lake.
While the campground offers access to a lake, it's important to note that swimming is restricted due to private properties nearby. The lake provides opportunities for fishing. However, it's worth mentioning that finding non-private spots for fishing may require a bit of exploration.
This is peaceful campground offers spacious camping spots, convenient facilities, and family-friendly features. I would highly recommend this campground to families with kids and teenagers who seek a comfortable camping experience amidst serene surroundings.

Very nice kayak launch dock. Many sites require reverse entrance. Dump station is on a slope so large vehicles may not be able to empty tanks completely. Camp host was very friendly
