What Guests Are Saying
East Branch Campground offers a peaceful and clean environment, perfect for relaxation and enjoying nature, with stunning views and a large lake for boating and fishing. Visitors appreciate the campground's remote location, friendly staff, and engaging activities for families, such as the exploratory building run by knowledgeable Army Corps workers. While some amenities, like a playground and improved dump station access, could be enhanced, many campers express their intention to return for another restful stay.

Glad it's finally open again! Great area to camp.

{"text"=>"Great, small campground above the East Branch Dam. Sites are secluded, wooded and spaced out. Bathhouse and showers are very clean. There are small, rustic cabins with a double/single bunk and small table. All of the staff we met were kind and accommodating. They opened up their educational center for us and the kids spent a good 2 hours playing with the interactive exhibits. The dump area is at an odd location at the entrance. If many people are waiting to use it, I can see where things would get backed up quickly. Quick access by car to the boat launch for the lake or the launch for the river and a short 5 min drive to Bendigo SP if you want to swim. Cell service is in and out, but to be honest, that's a plus in my book. Small playground and a Cornhole area. We walked across the dam, which was nice. This is a great place if you want to get away from people, get your kids off their devices and let them explore nature!", "languageCode"=>"en"}
