This park is amazingly clean and well tended to. Kudos to the park folks. However I want to ask why there is longer periods to stay.

Super quiet and large campsites. Plenty of shade on a hot day and easy access to the lake. We will be back.

Great campground with large sites. Walt and Sandy, and Pat and Diana are excellent host. If you have any kind of problem, they are there to help. Bathrooms are always clean and campsites are always kept up..

This is my third trip to Hawe Creek. Each time I have found the campgrounds to be well cared for, the facilities spotless and the camp hosts and volunteers to be warm , welcoming and helpful.
The ONLY suggestion is that the campground closes to the public way too early in the season. For South Carolina, closing at the beginning of October doesn't make any sense... that is when the weather is the best! It could be open thru mid December without any risk of freezing. This campground is too wonderful not to be open for a lot longer than it is!!!
