Really appreciate how spaced out most of the sites are. I’ve camped here twice and enjoyed it both times. The bathrooms are managed VERY well. Larry is the grounds keeper in the winter months. He’s very friendly and down to earth. He treated us like family.

First thing is you meet the park manager, what a wonderful person help to make our stay much more enjoyable.
Otherwise the facilities were very well kept and the park grounds manicured to near perfection.
This is our second stay and we highly recommend this destination for riding, hiking and swimming.

I LOVE camping with my horse at Ebenezer Campground near Jasper, TX. The camp sites are well maintained by the camp manager. The bathrooms and showers are clean as well. There are two horse pens per site, and trails into the forest are just a few yards from the campground. The trails are mostly sandy, with a nice variety of terrain, and riding on the beach along the lake is so fun. I highly recommend the campground!

the park is always clean. Larry does a great job taking care of the park. I don’t use the showers/restroom so i can’t comment on them. would like to see some of the bent panels replaced. Other than that no complaints

This place is a must to camp with your family. I was impressed of how well maintained, cleaned, up-kept camping spot this is. The host/caretaker of the park, Larry was so attentive & made sure everyone was following park rules & checking in with everyone. The bathrooms & showers were clean & the campsites as well. This will be a place my family & I will frequent from now on when we need a local camping area.

We love tent camping here. There is only equestrian and tent camping, so it’s not a place full of RV’s. Choosing a spot is important, because many of them have no level areas and no tent pads, but the views are amazing. Note that although the tent spots just say no electricity, they also have no water. There is a water station near the entrance, but you’ll need containers and the ability to haul them.

The veiw, atmosphere and hospitality was TOP NOTCH. This was our 2nd visit to Ebenezer Park and although the 1st one was nice, this one far exceeded it. We are from Lake Charles and evacuated from the direct hit of Hurricane Delta after just being hit by Laura 6 weeks before. Upon arrival, Larry met us and directed us into our spot. He hung around to make sure all was good. He is an EXCELLENT Park Keeper. Hus is very curious and helpful and is Johnny on the Spot as far as the upkeep and cleaniness of the park. We will definitely be going back during the season he is there.
