About Ebenezer Park

Ebenezer Park features some of the most beautiful horseback riding trails in southeast Texas. It's the only Army Corps of Engineers park on Sam Rayburn Reservoir with equestrian campsites, making it the go-to destination for horse-owners. The horse trail terrain is soft and sandy, so horseshoes are not required. Trails glide over rolling hills through creeks and gullies. Some trails even have beach access, allowing riders and their horses to cool off on a hot day. Note: The horse access beach and majority of the trail system are located on USFS property.

This is my all time favorite place to camp and ride! Campsites are perfect for the horses with good pens and water close by. And love the setups for our campers. Has everything we need to enjoy the great outdoors! Plus lake access to ride and swim! Perfect ❤️

Great place to camp with horses. Wish there were more like it. Visit the horse beach on the forest trail it is pretty white sand! Clean bathrooms nothing fancy but better than most.

I lost over $50 for my reservation because no one could figure out how to give me a refund because a tropical storm was coming through and flooded everything in the area and I couldn't use my reservation. I called in advance to cancel and no one knew how to do it.

Very disappointing and frustrating...

Love the camping experience with my horses! Clean restrooms and showers. The only things that could make it better is if there was shade in the horse corals and the trails marked. This park is amazing and the attendant was on point. Checking coggins and making sure we were doing well. We has an incredible time. The swimming area really nice also.

Beautiful trails, very easy to navigate.
Beach was spectacular, set below a scenic treelined cliff.
