Didn’t feel safe. Trump flag on the host campsite. We are a member of one of the groups hated by Trump supporters. Canceled our next reservation here for that reason. This a Federal campground that should be welcoming to ALL.

Love this park. If I knew how to pick better weather I'd be ecstatic but I can't blame the park for that. 😊
My only wish is that the jet skiers weren't able to use the area adjacent to the swimming beach. The noise is almost unbearable.
Met some really nice "neighbors" while I was there. I plan on another trip in the fall.

Well maintained, attentive managers, clean beaches. Not a lot to do unless you bring your own water toys (boats, kayaks, etc.) but kids love the beaches and playgrounds.

Yet another beautiful and quiet Corps of Engineers (COE) campground. Everything was well kept. Every staff and volunteer was so friendly and helpful.
This was our first camping on a weekday, and we were amazed at how quiet a campground can be on the weekdays! I want to retire right now!
Site 29 is handicap-accessible, which we did not notice when making the reservation. The pad is huge. However, the fire ring is not centrally located, and it is taller than usual. This made it pretty hard to build a fire. Also our camp faced the nearby shower house, so there was a bit more pedestrian traffic than you might like. We camped at Coneross Park in a Travel Trailer.
