What Guests Are Saying
Sheridan Lake offers great tent and RV camping with spacious, shaded sites and a beautiful lakeside location, perfect for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The clean facilities and friendly hosts enhance the overall experience, despite some concerns about limited infrastructure and cellular service. While some campers noted noise from generators and construction, many found the setting peaceful and enjoyable, making it a desirable spot for future visits.

Overall this is one of our favorite camping locations. the staff, including the Hosts are always very helpful. The campsites are always clean as well as the vault toilets. The only downside is the steep limited lake access for most all campsites.

The campsite was clean and it was quiet and peaceful at night. The bathroom facilities were also well maintained.

Great location. Close to many Black Hills tourist attractions.
Great kayaking even with the boats.
Paddle boarding good early before the boats start.

Cindy, Kim (booth) and Hope (Host, Wood Loop) were all awesome, reminding me once again that of all the places I camp in the Black Hills, Sheridan Lake remains my favorite.
