What Guests Are Saying
Sheridan Lake offers great tent and RV camping with spacious, shaded sites and a beautiful lakeside location, perfect for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The clean facilities and friendly hosts enhance the overall experience, despite some concerns about limited infrastructure and cellular service. While some campers noted noise from generators and construction, many found the setting peaceful and enjoyable, making it a desirable spot for future visits.

We loved our campsite right by the lake. It was peaceful and calming on the inlet. Wonderful wildlife and a quick jaunt to the beach area for swimming. My kids did attempt to swim from the trail between our site and the lake, but my husband wanted more groomed area for swimming.

Campground was amazing on the lake was beautiful, but the bathrooms had major issues, flies everywhere. Also, toilets would not seal and prevent the fly issues. If you can handle this then this campground will be awesome. Most campsites have a nice view of the lake even the ones that aren't on the edge. There is a gas station open till 10 pm that is a mile away if the bathrooms are too much (the bathroom there are clean).

This campground is huge and has such a beautiful setting. That said, we scored the last available site for the night. So many loud campers well after dark but thankfully a storm blew in and sent them scurrying to their tents, etc. I am an avid camper and hiker. I have seen some pretty bad vault toilets but these were hands down the worst ever (chipper loop). Infested with flies and the smell was unbearable. As soon as we woke up the following morning we left, so we could find a place to use the restroom. Sad but true.

The campsites are very roomy and fairly level. We had one with a great view of the lake. Only drawback of that was very loud music from boats on the lake late into the evenings. Would like to see a cut off time on that. The campground could also stand an upgrade on most of their bathrooms.
