What Guests Are Saying
Sheridan Lake offers great tent and RV camping with spacious, shaded sites and a beautiful lakeside location, perfect for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The clean facilities and friendly hosts enhance the overall experience, despite some concerns about limited infrastructure and cellular service. While some campers noted noise from generators and construction, many found the setting peaceful and enjoyable, making it a desirable spot for future visits.

Great location! Sites were spread out and this was fairly close to the bathrooms. The kids loved hiking nearby and the swim beach.

Two comments— first, there was a huge plastic garbage bin staged about 20 feet from our campsite’s picnic table. Flies were disgusting and everywhere. Not sure why management would think that these bins need to be within the bounds of the campsite. Gross. Recommend moving all trash containers to the ends of the loops or beside the bathrooms.
Second— are there any improvements that can be made to South Beach? It literally looks the same as it did when I used to camp with my parents in the ‘80s. Expand the beach? More benches? A hand washing station at the bathroom? Showers?
Most importantly—-can someone dredge all that nasty algae and moss by the shore and drag it away a couple times during the summer? Such a beautiful beach with so much potential; however, no improvements???

Very Clean and great sites. Clean Toilets and nice space between sites. No bad vibes here and a beautiful sound healing at the Frog pond near the boat ramps. I stayed at 119 for 3 nights. Quiet and serene. Beautiful sunrise across the lake. And two Geese Families parading their new Goslings. Quite a nice visit.

Our site was spacious with plenty of distance from the neighboring site. It is part of a small subsection of the campground where there are only the two sites, both with an amazing view of the lake and a small trail down to the lakefront. Campground host was very friendly and checked us in after-hours when the ranger station was closed.

Nice campground with one exception. Old outdated toilets. It is evident there hasn't been any maintenence on them recently.
