What Guests Are Saying
Sheridan Lake offers great tent and RV camping with spacious, shaded sites and a beautiful lakeside location, perfect for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The clean facilities and friendly hosts enhance the overall experience, despite some concerns about limited infrastructure and cellular service. While some campers noted noise from generators and construction, many found the setting peaceful and enjoyable, making it a desirable spot for future visits.

this year was esceptionally wonderful, great weather helped and the pesky bugs were no where to be found. restroom was very well kept up and cleaned daily. camp sites were spaced far enogh apart nieghbors we not a problem, even 3 sites next to us with the boy scouts camping. Great place to fish as trout were plentiful and blue gills were great over the camp fire. watchout for the northern pike as we lost some tackle from time to time. even shore fishing was great. looking forward to next years visit.

Beautiful campground and location! We stayed there for a week while exploring the Black Hills. We were very impressed with the quality of camping. Our favorite part was being in the woods and the beach. We enjoyed clean bathrooms and everything was well kept. Very friendly people there to check us in. We will absolutely be staying there again.

Cindy the hostess at Sheridan is the very best. She knows her stuff and has always went out of her way to accommodate.

Great Lake for fishing. Rented a boat for the day and fished. Nice size panfish and a couple of trout.

We have camped in the Woodsy Loop many times. It's our favorite. This year they have replaced the old wooden shack outhouses with more modern ones, which are clean and well maintained. I believe one was even added. The campsites were clean. The hosts and other employees were very friendly and helpful. We love it there.

Very clean campsite and restrooms. Staff were very friendly and even stopped by at the end of the day to see if we needed anything. Could have been a better stay. Excellent
