Beautiful setting. Some of the sites should have been back-in. Showers need updating

Nice quiet campground in the middle of the badlands with easy access to the sights. Very limited restaurant. Plenty of space at each site for a tent or RV. No privacy, but the ground is mostly level and the picnic tables all have a west facing sun shelter

It’s a great location to explore the badlands. The facilities are clean. We had a site with electricity which was great. Love the welcome center, store and the little restaurant is convenient and nice to grab a bite to eat. We had breakfast. Could use some updating if facilities. My shower did not have hot water. I would prefer a door on my shower instead of a shower curtain. Overall great views of the badlands great location!

Restaurant and some trails were close enough to walk. Being in the Badlands means no shade at the campground. I think being a NPS property, the sites, shower houses and restrooms should to be updated.

We absolutely loved camping at Cedar Pass. This was our second time on the same trip, and we are so glad we signed up for staying there on the return home trip as well as the first time going out. The view on 44 coming in was great, and the scenic route was amazing !
We are already planning to come back next year and bring our adult children to see it.

Our stay in Cedar Pass Campground was short but great. The views on the drive were stunning and the ranger program on viewing the night sky was good too. Bathrooms were clean and functional. We also really enjoyed the fossil cleaning room where people were working and discussed the process with us. Great place!

Great campground location for being right in the park. Appreciate the sun canopies. Our site was not level, didn't bother us too much in van but could be a problem for more sensitive setups. Not much privacy. Bathrooms very clean. Lots of bats in the area which was neat.
