The campsite was very nice with Great views, the only thing that was not so good was that the door from the RV was to the street and not to the picnic table. But side is nice. There is a roof above the picnic table and there’s grass around, which makes it very comfortable.

Great campground. You can see storms for miles. I feel bad for tent campers - storms and winds are fierce. Proceed with caution. A bit challenging to get details on park events around there.

Sites all have fantastic views. Restrooms are fine, with coin/pay showers. Dishwashing station is nice to have.
It would be better if the one-way roads were known when selecting a site. They're all pulloffs, so sometimes camper door will face the road.

We were lucky enough to book a campsite just a few days ahead and were so happy to be able to camp right in the park. The campground location is close to the visitor center which has potable water where we filled all of our drinking jugs. The campground itself offered no privacy and felt a bit like the wagons, aka RV's and tents, were all circled together. We had seen that in the photos so weren't too surprised.

Nice campground in Badlands NP. Next to the visitor's center and amphitheater. Great evening program about the minuteman missile silos and then an astronomy presentation. Clean restrooms and showers that were nicely maintained.
