Campground is extremely convenient, in the heart of the Badlands within walking distance of the the store and cafe. There's no shade and little privacy. Everyone is sharing the same big space. Otherwise, it was comfortable.

Highly recommend getting up at 2am and look straight up. The stars are amazing. One of my favorite places to camp despite being a bit crowded and the scenery, well, stark.

We had a great experience at Cedar Pass Campground! The sites are well-maintained and the staff was incredibly friendly. The location is unbeatable—being so close to the Notch and Door trails made exploring easy. It is a place of 'harsh' beauty; it was over 90°F when we arrived with very little shade, but our electric RV site was a lifesaver for cooling down the camper.
Once the sun set, the sky turned beautiful colors and the stargazing was world-class. We also loved the nightly Ranger programs—they were both fun and informative. Between the stunning stark landscape and the wildlife (buffalo were everywhere!), this was a memorable stay. I highly recommend it!

The site was amazing. The showers were super clean, the campfire program was excellent. We went twice. Water facility was working well, it wasn't a muddy mess. The bathrooms were good. Cleanup and refilling of soap could maybe occur once more per week. We were very thankful to the staff. The were friendly and informative

Stayed one night in tent camping. Spacious site and bear box provided. We purchased ice from their store. We were able to take a hot shower after a long day of hiking. The restrooms were reasonably clean. Perfect location between Tetons and Yellowstone.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Very well maintained campground with easy access to facilities, friends, and most importantly trails. This was my friends and I's first time camping inside of a national park and it was wonderful. Brian was an amazing human being who greeted us and talked to us each day. The view in the morning from this campground was otherworldly and makes the trip itself worth it. It is a very convenient spot as you are able to have your car, but also have the bathrooms right by you. Never had any issues with wildlife. One of the best parts from this spot is the stargazing. My friends and I once it got dark enough went and laid outside our tent and could see everything including the milky way. Absolutely wonderful experience, stress free, and easy. Really cool as you can come and go as you please and you know exactly which spot is yours as it has your name. Recommend this for ANYONE, DO IT! We're college kids and we managed to have the time of our life here and not get in any trouble.

The campground is very conveniently located and it's very nice to have showers. There however, is a real parking problem, in that there aren't parking spaces.
Everyone has to literally park on the side of the drive through. For fire escape reasons that requires everyone to face their vehicles the same direction. If your camper has slide outs (as ours did) it then sticks out into the driveway. Essentially. There is no camper parking.
