Nice campground.

Beautiful campground but be aware that the sites are pull along sites and the length noted for a specific site may not be as long as noted. Also, where your steps come down may end up on the road side and it might not be wide enough to put out a slide.

Cedar Pass offers electric-only sites, including 30-amp and 50-amp hookups.
Just keep in mind: no water or sewer hook-ups at the individual sites.
A septic dump station is available near the group camping loop for a small fee.
From virtually every angle, the campground is surrounded by sweeping badlands formations and open prairie.

Last minute one night stay in October due to weather. Planned to boondock, but didn’t feel safe with the high winds. Campsite was perfect for an October night with clean showers. I think it would be very hot in the summer…it’s the badlands so no shade. Located right off the scenic drive and a short distance from hiking. Badlands is out of this world and Cedar Pass is conveniently located to explore the park. Spots are perfect for small rigs like truck campers, vans, tent camping. It appeared that larger rigs only had sites with “pull-off” style parking not back in spots.
