Loved the everchanging view of the pinnacles as clouds passed overhead. Mule deer walked on by and listened to coyotes as dusk fell.

For tent campers, be aware that most RVs leave their exterior lights on/run generators etc throughout the night. Otherwise, well groomed tent sites, clean bathroom, and well kept benches are present at tent sites. If you are a dedicated tent camper and don't mind a pit toilet, sage creek is 100x better for wildlife viewing, star observation, and immersing yourself in the badlands.

Unfortunately my shower was pretty cold. However the campground was super clean, quiet, and peaceful.

VERY CLEAN AND ORGANIZED...
VERY HAPPY THEY DID NOT ALLOW GAS GENERATORS ALL NIGHT LONG.
OTHER NON ELECTRIC PLACES WE STAYED SOUNDED LIKE A STOCK CAR RACE WITH ALL THE GENERATORS GOING ALL NIGHT.

This is a nice well kept campground. It’s a little different than most because they are “roadside” sites versus back in or pull through. The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Not really campsites, just pull offs from the main loop. Signage to the dump/potable was subpar. Super windy. Amazing, underrated national park though so you’re really just staying here for the convenient location.
Warm water in the women’s bathhouse is not working!

Nice clean, open campground. Suitable for all size of rigs. Just be aware of what side of the road the site is located as the parking was parallel along the road. IE if site on left, when you pull up, your door will open to the road.

A very scenic campground right in the middle of everything Badlands NP has to offer. Bike from here or hike from here. Facilities are good and the staff is very friendly. Would repeat in a heartbeat.
