The campground was very well maintained. The Ranger staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The campground was clean and surprisingly more developed than I expected. The nighttime star show was a nice treat.

"Campground" is tight. Sites are wide places in the road. Scenery is nice, as is having electricity. No water or sewer? No problem. Great location!

National parks are the best! So glad that I was ablet o get a reservation in advance.
The star talk with the rangers was well done and they imparted a lot of info.
I'll be back!

Campground reservations much better now that they are done through recreation.gov. Campground is a little crowded, with sites very close. A number of sites are closed due to flooding issues. Be aware that shade doesn't exist, except for small covers on picnic tables (it's the Badlands, there aren't trees). Restrooms are in pretty good condition.

Beautiful view of the Badlands. Clean restrooms and running water at the bathhouses. The birds are incredible and the view of the sky is amazing. Bad weather hit during our trip and it was intense so prepare accordingly. Wind gusts come fast so items need to be tacked down. The host and Ranger were helpful when my car wouldn’t start.

The campground is nice and tidy and I was greeted well and my spot was already labled. I dont like the lack of shade and privacy at the campground.

The campgrounds were not great, but a large part of that was due to weather. More importantly, be sure to sell propane connections that are actually compatible with the propane stoves you sell...
This is a pretty basic compatibility issue that was overlooked by your managers.

Loved our time here, though we got rocked twice in a row by insane storms. So if you’re camping in a tent, beware! The storms do not play. Such a beautiful location though. We could see for miles and miles across the prairie. The shade over the picnic table is brilliant, worked like a charm and also doubles as a great place to dry stuff. The coin showers were a little odd, never had to pay for a shower in a park before, but it mostly worked ok. The water stopped a min or so in and I had a panicked moment as I had no more quarters and was completely covered in soap… but it started up again so crisis averted. My husband says the men’s restroom was very hot, but the women’s was fine. The dumpster was overfull, but it was centrally located. Love that there was recycling on site. LOVED the dish sink, with HOT WATER!! I wish every campground had that. Would absolutely stay here again, even with the storms.

The campgrounds were fine. Bathrooms were clean and convenient. Picnic table and wind shelter were a nice touch but it was so windy when we were there that we couldn't really use them. Not the fault of the campgrounds of course :-)
