It’s not what you think of when you think campground. It’s more of a street with pull offs. Cars and people drive and walk by within feet of your camper. The coin operated showers were cold and the shower nozzle sprayed so close to the wall that it was difficult to shower.

Great family-friendly campground. Covered picnic tables, a dish washing station and free showers. Stunning views of the stars at night.

Excellent location in the park. We were able to ride our bikes about 1 hour before sunset with very little traffic. What an experience to see the park in a different light. Each site had a nice shade shelter for the table. Dump station was close at the park entrance. Nice to have electric especially during the heat of the day. The sites are basically a wide drive with pull outs as the site. So if your door is on the traffic side don't plan on putting out an awning. Just being in the Badlands was a great experience.
