We camped in #4 which is an absolutely gorgeous spot situated so that our camper doors/windows looked right over the lake. Was beautiful Autumn weekend (October 7-8-9, 2022). Definitely want to camp here again.

My wife and I camp here a lot as we have a sailboat in a nearby marina. Campground is quiet, facilities clean, and the operator is engaging and does a good job. We invited some marina friends for an evening meal and camp fire and I had to draw a detailed map of how to get to the campsite due to the lack of directional signs once you entered the campground. Best places are along Yankton Lake, both morning and evening. The campground connects up with a lot of bike trails which a lot of people take advantage of.

This campground is a beautiful place to camp. The restroom is cleaned several times on a daily basis. Supplies are accessible either nearby or at Yankton which is a short drive. Swimming and fishing are popular activities. Park rangers drive by on a regular basis and the camp hosts are readily available if needed.
