A wonderful campground that is close enough for "tourist" day trips, fish if you like to, sit on the bench and enjoy the lake or get out your favorite chair, sit in the shade and do nothing!

We were disappointed that the grass was not mowed, because we needed to set up tents. Finally on Tuesday the guy came around and said he was making a couple of swaths around all the campers. We said we needed more cut because we needed to set up tents. He did cut a bigger patch for us and Said they would be back to cut the rest of the grass, but never did.
Otherwise we always enjoy camping at Cottonwood and have done this for the last 10 years.

We enjoyed cottonwood. In a perfect location with plenty of shade. The bathrooms were cleaned multiple times a day. The playgrounds were wonderful!

Nice park, excellent bathroom/shower. My only complaint is that it's a bit noisy, but well within reason. Happy people noise is just part of this type of campground. Otherwise, it's clean, very safe and enjoyable. Within an easy carry to the water for fishing or boating. Sites were level and smooth and plenty long for our car and 14' trailer.
Scenery: B
Noise level: B
Facilities: clean
Overall vibe: Busy but chill
Returnability: You bet
