This is always our favorite stop of the year. Right on the Cumberland River. The girls love riding their bikes and it’s a one way in, one way out place so that allows us to feel much more secure. There are deputies that drive through multiple times per day. We enjoyed our bike riding this year down to the dam and back (about 4-5 miles). There are no sewer sites here but having a waste toter clears that up. Great place for anyone, would absolutely recommend.

We go here several times a year as it is always an enjoyable experience. The campsites are large and always clean and trimmed. There is plenty of hiking and bike riding areas for entertainment or you can just sit outside and watch the river barge traffic sail by. Bathhouse is always clean and easily accessible. Campground host always meets you and is available. All around great camping experience.
