Clean and quiet campground. The bathroom and shower facilities were clean. We especially loved the size of the campsite and the view! Everyone we met that worked there was very friendly.

Great campground, right on the Cumberland River. Campground was well maintained. Bathhouse is dated, but was clean and had plenty of hot water. Activities for children. Host was friendly and helpful. Trail leading to Ashland City was closed due to a damaged bridge. Sat on river bank and watched barge traffic and small boats.

Beautiful, relaxing campground! Loved walking by the river. Sites were large and spacious, many are concrete with plenty of parking. Very clean. Each site has own trash can that someone empties daily.

This was a really good tent site. Water on 3 sides. It was a beautiful view. The only issue was that a 100 foot cord is required to reach the tent pad. I didn't have one, but my tent was small enough that it fit near the picnic table.
It stormed that night and the chiggers were biting, but that's camping!
The late night/early morning barges were pretty loud and awakened me a few times and some sort of animal kept snorting outside my tent but never attempted to get in.
I saw a huge catfish (or maybe the Loch Ness monster!) try to jump out of the water!
The main hiking trail is closed down because of a damaged bridge. That is the only reason I didn't give a perfect score.
Campsite #1 had great woman checking us in. She even came around with freeze pops one hour afternoon!
Would i go back? In a heart beat!

What a great campground!! The staff were great especially the main lady who runs it. My family and I will definitely be back. The campsites were well shaded, clean, and comfortable. The showers and bathrooms were well kept.
