I came for a Sunday night in mid-June. My lot was an electric & water hookup waterfront site - clean concrete pad, spacious with picnic table & fire pit. Beach was a short walk and there’s a longer walking trail along the waterfront. For $28/night this was a great find!

the nicest and most well maintained corps park we’ve ever stayed and we’ve stayed at several. the grounds were closely mowed, sites were level, spotless and roomy, bathrooms were spotless! whoever maintains the park does an outstanding job. one end of the park to the other is about 3 mi and completely flat w a nice asphalt road where we rode our bikes along the beautiful river every day. our site (35) was about 150’ from the river where we fished. watched the barges and boats go by. extremely relaxing and tranquil. town was about 20 minutes away if u need supplies.

shower and restroom facilities need upgrading. The basketball court/tennis/court needs repair The campsites are clean and very well maintained and have scheduled trash pickup. Overall the campground is a great place to stay and the staff is very helpful

The only recommendation I can think of to improve this excellent campground is to identify the campgrounds site numbers more clearly. They are very hard to see.
