What Guests Are Saying
Thunder Rock Campground features friendly and helpful hosts, a clean bathhouse, and a great location for outdoor activities like paddling and biking. Many campers appreciate the serene atmosphere by the Ocoee River, with well-maintained sites and good facilities. However, some sites may flood during heavy rain, and there are occasional issues with road noise and amenities like hand soap in the bathrooms that could be improved.

Very nice area to camp. Not the absolute best for kids- not much to do except explore (which is fine by me) trails were closed though.
We will definitely be back and enjoy a relaxing weekend!

Good camp sight. The only one with electricity. Close to bath house but a little too close to the main camp road.

This was an incredible place to camp with our kids. We brought all four, ages from 7-12. They were able to ride their bikes around the loop while we watched them sitting by our campfire. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Right off the Occoee and one of the hydro plants, you can hear the water flowing all day, nice and peaceful.
Campground was clean, well maintained with very clean bathrooms, hot running water and a friendly and informative host.
Perfect location for mountain biking and or hiking. Water was a little low (early November). I had a great relaxing time.
