It was a beautiful campsite in the fall with the leaves changing. There is significant roadside noise (surprisingly louder than the river) starting pretty early (i.e. 4-6 am) but not too bad.

My wife loved the Nearby Tanasi trails biking. Liked the camping location next to the river. We had a great camping trip.

One of my favorite campgrounds! The sound of the water at night is lovely to fall asleep too, the bathrooms were clean, no complaints!

The showers were ice cold. The road around the campground was pot holed so bad you could trip walking on it. Driving on it was horrible!

Love the location. Camp here often. Campground needs some work - it is going downhill. If you have a small car you will not be able to get past the pot holes just past the entrance.

Road was pretty torn up getting in and out. No host on duty, which would be an issue if you wanted to pay or buy firewood I guess. The campsites bordering the river are also very close to the highway so you hear semi's all night. All in all a nice little campground. Mostly full of kayakers. Everyone was quiet and courteous. If you arrive without a reservation make sure to read the dates on the reserved sites. A lot of them were open, but people drove by them thinking they were already taken.

Potholes are very bad and there's no way to avoid them.

Batthrooms were a complete mess. Flies and spiders abundant. There is no one to monitor or clean facilities.

we had a great time at this Campground. It was very crowded on the weekend however everyone left on Sunday afternoon. there are two hikes nearby that are easily accessed and when we arrived her name was on the campsite that we reserved.

We were in the lower loop at the campground where there are only vault toilets available. The toilets were filthy and were completely out of paper before the end of the night on Friday evening with a packed out campground. We wound up driving into Copperhill and buying a package of toilet paper.
The bathhouse was kept reasonably clean and stocked but the vault toilet was really subpar.
