There are few groups of people playing music and talking loudly till 1 AM while we were staying there.
Saw a sign said 10 PM to 6 AM is quiet time but they seems not care and no crew to stop them. Not a good experience with the camp site.

Excellent. This campground was a little piece of heaven in the fall. Gravel base for your tent, picnic table, and fire ring. Very clean. Great hiking access to Cosby creek, AT, and Mount Cammerer. Some fly fishing opportunities. The water level was super low when I went in October so bring 6x tippet and the smallest dry flies you can find. Fish spook on sight of anything
Bathrooms with sinks, dishwashing station, and flush toilets. No power outlets in the bathrooms, so come prepared. No showers and no soap.
The beauty of this campground is that there are no crowds and all nearby trails are accessible without driving. Mt. Cammerer lookout tower is breathtaking. It’s a long journey but so worth it. I will be back!

This place is a gem!! Someone had mentioned that it was a little crowded, but I thought spots had ample room. It made me feel like I was in an outdoor community. We came in between a weekend turnover to weekday (Sat-Tue)...so it was beautiful at night to see everyone's fire and hanging out, but then it was super quiet & dark when everyone left Sunday. The only draw back is, if you have knee or back issues, the steps to your site from your car is a little rough.

I loved the campsite and the campground in general. The staff at the office was polite and professional. The restrooms were well kept and clean. Generally, I prefer to stay in the back country sites. But this time opted for the front country campground. There were a few neighbors that didn't necessarily follow the quiet hours and were a little loud. I am a strict advocate of the "Leave No Trace" camping philosophy. I found our site to be somewhat littered. Apparently, the previous campers didn't follow the same philosophy. There were several pieces of trash and quite a few egg shells dumped behind a tree. Needless to say, we left the site much better than we found it. But overall I would not hesitate to stay at Cosby again.

Very quiet, secluded and nice campground. Prepare for zero cell (Verizon) and no distractions. We had site a21 with our small camper 18 feet long and were a bit tight length wise. Not for larger RV’s. Boondocking was fine. Our site was at trailhead for Henswallow Falls trail. Bathroom was close and very clean. Nice experience.
