There is a nice hike to a waterfall called Hen Wallow Falls, the trailhead starts between campsites 22 and 64.
We noticed that the RV dump was locked

High density tent camping, most tent pads 20 to 25 feet apart,, with a few rv capable sites. One bear box for the entire campground! Anything but peaceful during the day. Restroom had no soap blocked toilet. The only attraction can be its proximity to Gatlinburg. A great location poorly designed.

Very nice, quiet, wooded campground. Bathrooms were very clean, as was the entire campground. This campground is best for tent campers that don’t mind parking on the roadside and walking a short distance to the campsite. Very few sites that are suitable for RV’s or van camping, but they are well marked on the reservation site and at the campground.

Great staying in The Smokies. All vehicles park on the road in designated spots. When the park was full, that meant there were lots of cars on the road

Such a great, quiet campsite in the park, but away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg! Lot of hiking trails from the sites with variety of hiking levels; long hikes, waterfall options, nice stream along the campsite entrance. Plenty of other day hikes within an hour of camp! Reserved our site online and ended up extending it a couple nights, we just didn't want to leave a good time!
Plenty of bathrooms through out the site, running water and place to clean dishes. Bear proof garbage bins emptied regularity. Campsite was better than we pictured from the photos online. Each site has their own little area with shade and plenty of trees!
Camp host was very friendly when making their routine checks! Got the feeling they genuinely cared about the campers and made an effort to get to know us over the week stay.
Hope we could stay for more than a week next time!

Great time of family bonding within this clean beautiful campground. Lots of gorgeous trails to explore right off the campground. Can't wait to go back for more!

Very quite campground, well kept and sites are spread out from each other so you don't feel like your ontop of anyone. You are allowed to have dogs at your camp site but they can't go anywhere else, so you might end up limited in what you can do while your there but otherwise it was beautiful.
