Seven Points (TN)

Beautiful location on the lake. No lakeside sites were available but site 54 was very nice. Near the bathroom. Showers were a little farther away. We could just make out the lake from our site. Not a large campground having only one loop so it felt cozy and quiet. Close to downtown Nashville and surrounding areas so it was a great home base for day tripping. Would definitely stay here again! Staff was super friendly and helpful.

You will not find a better place to camp. However, be aware of the woman that greets you. She is hyperactive and feels she must control the narrative. We were required by her to make a reservation before we could enter the park. She told us to turn past the gate house and pull in to the dump station that took longer to do than make the reservation. She stated that someone else may be coming in behind us. They only had three sites open and no one showed up while we were at the gate. Then, I remembered that she was here the last time we camped here and she required us to circle over to the dump that time as well. Just make sure you do what she barks at you and she will take care of you. The man with her is very kind and helpful. He gave us the information we needed to make a quick and satisfying choice of sites.

The folks there were very helpful with anything we needed. The sites are clean and well maintained.

It was well shaded, very important with daily temperatures over 100 degrees. The grounds were well kept and bathrooms were clean. The swimming area was dangerous with wet rocks. Should have a dock or remove the rocks; almost injured self.

Campground was clean and orderly.

We can't say enough positive things about Seven Points. The park is in a beautiful location on Percy Priest lake. It's about 30 minutes from all the activities in Nashville, but that's what makes it so peaceful. It's definitely hard to get a reservation there and you have to book at least 6 months in advance if you want more than a couple days. The camp hosts are fantastic and they really keep things running smoothly. The bathrooms could stand a little facelift but the bath/showerhouse is just fine. The women's bathroom was very hot and it didn't seem like that air-circulating exhaust fan was working. The lake is super fun to swim in and we enjoyed the views as usual. We did pickup some ticks from there but you just have to keep an eye on yourself.

Great water access and beach area. Campground Hosts are fantastic and very helpful.

Spaces are generously sized, with ample distance from your neighbor.
