What Guests Are Saying
Blue Heron Campground is well-maintained, peaceful, and offers clean facilities, making it a favorite for many visitors. The proximity to hiking trails, especially the Blue Heron Loop, adds to its appeal. While some campers noted noise from nearby children and the absence of a campground host, the overall atmosphere is friendly and the campground provides a great outdoor experience.

We stay here twice a year usually, and love this campground. Friendly rangers and campers, beautiful trails, beautiful views. It is a bit of a drive to stores, (Whitley City KY and Oneida TN), but there are two golf courses also. Love it! Decent cell reception.

Ok, kind of crowded and would really like to see improvements to electrical hookups to provide more sites with 50 amp.

Spent one evening here on our way through the area. Don't let the approach drive discourage you from staying. The campsites are well spaced out and level. The entire campground, including restrooms were very clean. We would stay here again, the forest is lovely.
