Clean and tidy rv park, including the shower houses. My 2 sites were pretty un level. In fact, it was only the 2nd time in 15 years RVing I was so unsuccessful I just switched sites. The 2nd site wasn’t as bad since it was just un level front to back versus all 4 directions.BUT, I don’t think I’ve ever met more helpful park hosts. I met all 3of them and they each went bore and beyond.

The campground is spacious and well maintained. Our site had excellent shade from the live oaks. Saturday afternoon the dump site was closed because of clogging. Someone had thrown gloves and other debris into it. The host came around and told us of the situation, and he had taken the initiative to find a nearby campground (3 miles away) and got all of us passes to get into this other campground to use their dump station. It turns out that we did not need to use the pass, as they got their dump station cleared out on Sunday.

Had a great time, Lee (park attendant) was very friendly. Our site was clean and ready to occupy. Probably my favorite park to stay at.

Excellent facilities. Camp host and Park Ranger were helpful and friendly. On the water with shade, can't ask for a better campsite. I get there once a year.

Excellent COE park located on the shore of Lake Belton. Easy access to grocery stores, restaurants, and Starbucks. The Dead Fish Grill is just across the causeway from the campground and has a superb view of the lake and terrific food and drinks. The campground is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The bathrooms are newly renovated and super clean. Dump station is a little confusing but easily accessible once you figure out the approach. Sites on the interior of the loop provide expansive play areas for the kids. The lower sites closer to the lake are deceptively unloved. You will need blocks.
