We love staying at Live Oak. It is conveniently near town but still the lake campsite atmosphere. The campsites are always ready for us when we pull in.... nice and cleaned. Bathrooms are always clean. Nice walk to the lake.

This park is lovely and convenient. Unfortunately, there are no sites available for the week before Thanksgiving for our stay, and we've selected another location. The proximity of the boat ramp to the campground is excellent. All locations seem very accessible, and the ramp is quiet and very nice. It's fun riding my bicycle around the park, since it's pretty level and also includes a nice, flat entry area off of Hwy 317. The park is close enough to home to be able to run our RV and boat out there for a weekend. Staff at the park are extremely friendly and effective. A very nice stay.

Nice quiet one night stay on my way to Austin. Was able to see the stars at night and I had a back in sight that overlooked the lake. Only downfall was that there was just one shower and while it was clean, it could use some attention.

Want to just say that the hosts are doing a fantastic job of keeping this park running and in great shape. We had a very nice prepped site on our arrival. Everything worked as it should. Bathrooms were very clean and super nice. Would stay here again
