A tremendous visit. Our campsite was very close to the boat ramp, and the whole thing was comfortable, intimate, quiet and functional. Leo was a tremendous Park Host and was very friendly and accomodating. He also took care of immediate issues such as folks fishing from the boating dock and enforcing the rules. It's close to home and was a wonderful get-away. Thank you for the effort and attention to detail for your guests.

The park was very well maintained, and clean. The staff was friendly.
I just wished the brush was cut back so you can see the lake and the sunset. I think that would be awesome.

We have been to Live Oak numerous times over the last 6 years or so and really have enjoyed every spot we've reserved. The staff are friendly, the restrooms are clean and the location within the many live oaks is great.

Overall, great RV sites. Could use additional crushed stone in Some of the sites to fill the patio areas. Also, there is a regular group that has large parties at their sites on the weekend. The camp host could do a better job of monitoring excess “guests”, loud music and late night parties.

From Interstate 35, take Farm-to-Market Road 2305 (West Adams Ave.) west. Drive for nine miles and turn left on Farm-to-Market Road 2271 (Morgan's Point Road). Go two miles to the park entrance. The campground is adjacent to the Belton Dam and spillway.
The campground is accessible via Interstate 35, with the nearest exit leading to Farm-to-Market Road 2305 (West Adams Ave.) and then Farm-to-Market Road 2271 (Morgan's Point Road).

- Gatehouse hours are Thursday-Saturday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, accepting credit card payments only.
- Contact the Belton Lake Office for more information; life jackets are required.
Safety & rules
- Day use areas are not available at Live Oak Ridge.
Site capacity
- Camping is limited to 14 days within any 30-day period without special permission.
Vehicles & parking
- Each site allows a maximum of 2 vehicles, with overflow parking available for additional vehicles.
- Off-road vehicles require a permit and must be registered, insured, and highway legal.
Utilities
- Waste discharge is only allowed at designated dump stations; dumping grey water and trash is prohibited.
Local regulations
- Visitors must comply with Title 36 regulations enforced by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Amenities
- Inflatable structures require a lake activity permit; small swimming pools have specific size limits.
- The Activity Center is available for reservation on a first-come, first-served basis with a camping reservation; special permits are required for events with inflatables.

- Firewood should be sourced locally and cannot be cut on USACE property.
