We stayed three nights and the park was quiet the entire time. The shared bathrooms needed to be cleaned. There are as a sign stating the bathrooms are cleaned once a weekend.

Live Oak Ridge is a nice park with good facilities and it is conveniently located for the Temple and Killeen area. The facilities were very clean the first time we visited, which was before COVID. This time during the ongoing COVID pandemic, the cleaning is not being done often enough and it shows. We hope that when we return the bathroom cleaning will have returned to the normal schedule. Otherwise, everything was fine for our visit.

This is the most well kept ACOE parks along the lakes between Temple and San Antonio. Still alot of cig butts but the hosts here and general condition of the camping spots is superior to Cedar Breaks, Cranes Mills, or parks along Stillhouse Hollow Lake/Lake Georgetown.
It would be great if the upper loop wasn't closed for the season given they have the best tree cover from the sun!

{"text"=>"Let me 1st off say, this place is awesome. This has to be the best campground we have ever stayed. Extra friendly staff, Lee is an awesome guy. It stormed on us when we first arrived, Lee called and made sure we were ok, considering we were staying in a tent. They have where you can park at the top of the boat ramp area, then a very short walk, bring your stuff to go fishing, on the banks or at their dock. Extra clean campgrounds, restrooms with showers. The common areas are clean, just very helpful and friendly people everywhere.", "languageCode"=>"en"}
