As always - WONDERFUL. Everything was just perfect. Love this place. Nice flat sites, and we were in the trees, just beautiful!!

Texas is HOT!!! the campground was well maintained and a good place to stay especially when it is cooler. A group of teenagers came in a nod stayed on an RV sight we wondered how it would be, no issues but the host had to pick up some gary left behind. Had a ned emergency, had to leave early. Good place not sewer hookups like most state parks. Clean power good water pressure. Cool views of the lake

Texas is HOT!!! the campground was well maintained and a good place to stay especially when it is cooler. Hands down worst park to choose to camp the very first time after buying our 5th wheel. We were threatened, harassed and completely bullied the entire stay 9 days total and waste a of money to add to the catastrophic events that were unfortunately happening to us also and you would think that park is supposed to be helpful well they lacked that part of the job. I have never been treated so horribly in my life and Then we stayed at Live Oak Ridge Park. I don’t recommend that place at all its horrible

No person at front gate to assist, having to come to this website for extension, no trash pickup, showers are so-so, stay was OK considering the cost.

From Interstate 35, take Farm-to-Market Road 2305 (West Adams Ave.) west. Drive for nine miles and turn left on Farm-to-Market Road 2271 (Morgan's Point Road). Go two miles to the park entrance. The campground is adjacent to the Belton Dam and spillway.
The campground is accessible via Interstate 35, with the nearest exit leading to Farm-to-Market Road 2305 (West Adams Ave.) and then Farm-to-Market Road 2271 (Morgan's Point Road).

- Gatehouse hours are Thursday-Saturday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, accepting credit card payments only.
- Contact the Belton Lake Office for more information; life jackets are required.
Safety & rules
- Day use areas are not available at Live Oak Ridge.
Site capacity
- Camping is limited to 14 days within any 30-day period without special permission.
Vehicles & parking
- Each site allows a maximum of 2 vehicles, with overflow parking available for additional vehicles.
- Off-road vehicles require a permit and must be registered, insured, and highway legal.
Utilities
- Waste discharge is only allowed at designated dump stations; dumping grey water and trash is prohibited.
Local regulations
- Visitors must comply with Title 36 regulations enforced by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Amenities
- Inflatable structures require a lake activity permit; small swimming pools have specific size limits.
- The Activity Center is available for reservation on a first-come, first-served basis with a camping reservation; special permits are required for events with inflatables.
