Enjoyed our overnight stay. We had no trouble, but saw others that were unable to access the unmanned front gate.

We have always enjoyed our stays at Live Oak Ridge. The camp hosts were all friendly and helpful. They keep the park in excellent condition.
We have reservations for October 2022.

This was my first-time camping with a camper trailer. The park was very clean and quiet. I will be visiting this place again.

We stay at Live Oak 3+ times a year as we have family in the area. This COE park is great. Plenty of area between campsites. Level cement pads and clean table with covers, fire pit and grill at each site. Overhead tree limbs are kept cut back. The restrooms have showers and are clean and well maintained.
TIPS: sites 19 & 21 have steep grassy areas off the back that doesn’t make it easy to spread out. Site #1 offers no overhead shade from trees. Site 20 is a pull-thru but harder to level if you have a longer rig.
Plan ahead and reserve early. This is a popular park and weekends fill up quickly.

This was a fantastic location next to Lake Belton and it helped that the weather cooperated. Like other Army Corps of Engineers parks in this district, things are getting pretty worn out.We had dead limbs/trees overhanging our site. The grill was burned through and had a rusted grate, so was almost unusable. (If you're planning site #30, bring your own grill!)The water faucet leaked below ground.Warning, this is a reservation-only park. You need the gate code before you get here. There is a gatehouse, but no attendant on duty. Weird.

Been coming to this park since the mid 90’s. My Father was the gate attendant then. Nice peaceful park, great swimming, fishing with hiking trails nearby. Like the location too.
