What Guests Are Saying
Westcliff is a well-maintained camping destination known for its beautiful lakeside sites, friendly hosts, and excellent restroom facilities. Recent upgrades to the campsites, such as new picnic tables and power pedestals, have enhanced the overall experience. While some guests noted issues with noise from day users and the need for shelter repairs, the peaceful atmosphere and cleanliness of the park were frequently praised.

there were some campers next to my daughter that partied loud with music very late on Saturday night.
other than that, everything was clean, peaceful, other campers, including my daughter, are repeat campers.

The park was not secure. In the evening, people who did not have the gate code were jumping the curb and coming in to the park. They did not have a site there. They rode through several times during the night like the get may have been scoping things out to steal. The sheriff had to be called two times. An intoxicated person in a keep was driving all through the grass and then drove down to the water. She had to be arrested. Then another incident resulted in the sheriff being called out occurred. Don’t know what that was about. The park definitely does not have the secure and relaxing feel it once had. That was probably our last trip to Westcliff.

Westcliff is a gem of a park. We loved being steps from the water for fishing, kayaking and letting the dog swim. The restrooms are immaculate and the staff is super friendly.

We were in #1 on 3/27. After setting up went outside w/our 9# dog and were met by 2 large yellow labs. I yelled to go away and one advanced at us. Had to call park ranger on Monday to report 2 yellow labs running loose that live in house above tent areas. The park volunteer lady heard me screaming at dogs and came over. I told her I wanted to call the park ranger to report. She said they are not around on weekends, so I called on Monday and reported to Ranger Cathy Hill. Then on Tue when walking our dog along tent area a different dog came running down from same house barking at us. Man yelled at us! We called 911 this time. A fence needs to be installed so home owners don't have free access to park.
