What Guests Are Saying
Westcliff is a well-maintained camping destination known for its beautiful lakeside sites, friendly hosts, and excellent restroom facilities. Recent upgrades to the campsites, such as new picnic tables and power pedestals, have enhanced the overall experience. While some guests noted issues with noise from day users and the need for shelter repairs, the peaceful atmosphere and cleanliness of the park were frequently praised.

Westcliff is situated in a great area. It is close to Belton, Salado, Killeen, and Temple. All four towns have lots to offer for excursions. The park itself is very nice. I was in a site that was not on the water. It was level, quiet, and had a huge private field in the back. There was no shade, but I really don't care about that. They do not have any trails, but you can hike the road from the camping loop to the Boat ramp. I saw lots of birds, native Texas plants, and insects when I did that. The gate is has a code on it, so you can come and go as you please. The people working the gate house were great. The couple that was serving as hosts while I was there were extremely friendly.

Love camping here!! It's so nice to park your boat right at your campsite and not have to put it in the water every day!! The gate attendants are wonderful and so very friendly!! Last year I could not have said this! Thank you for making our summer vacation and true VACATION!! The park is clean and you never have loud obnoxious people camping beside you. Everyone of our "neighbors" the two weeks we stayed at the park were really great!!

Nice large sites, especially down by the water. They could use some weed clean up at the camp sites. Little to no shade on the waterfront sites. Site 23 is awesome for shade but not a waterfront site.
