What Guests Are Saying
Westcliff offers a beautiful, peaceful location with friendly and helpful staff, making it a favorite for many campers. The park features clean campsites, well-maintained facilities, and a stunning lakeside setting, perfect for swimming and relaxation. However, there are some concerns regarding noise from jet skis and the need for better maintenance of picnic shelter roofs and weeds, which could enhance the overall experience.

I was apprehensive about this place. We were looking to stay at a state park, but they were all booked for spring break. We took a group of fathers and sons from our church. We booked the four primitive campsites. They were amazing. The covered picnic tables looked brand new. Each one had a firepit and a charcoal grill. They are right on the lake. There were rock formations for the kids to climb on, and great fishing. It was cold and the host brought us firewood, and checked on us each day. The staff was extremely helpful and hospitable. It is also only 8 minutes from miller springs park, so we were able to do some great camping. Grass was mowed and well maintained. I would highly recommend.

Westcliff needs a dog park for our pups to run! That field between the restrooms and the sites would be a perfect place to put one. Just a little chain link fencing with a gate would be so nice.

Twice while we were there for 4 days, the gate into the area where we camp, was broken, leaving us with no security. It’s bad enough to not have anyone at the entrance gate, but we would feel safer if the gate to the camping area was secure. Please fix it and have it fixed sooner when it is out of commission.

Loved Westcliff. All the sites by the lake had incredible views, and the hosts were great.
We just wished, as we do with most COE parks in the general area, that they didn't close so early in the Fall. October is one of our nicest months as far as weather, yet many of the parks are closed for the season starting October first .

The grounds were extremely unkept. The gate attendant had several vehicles parked at the gate.
