Sites are too close together. I had no shade. People ran motors at nite.

Great site with picnic shelter and bear box. Nice short hike up to restaurant and visitor center. Basic amenities. Beautiful location.

Quite the climb to get to the campsite area. Great views of the entire mountain landscape but it is tough to get up the rocky area to the campsite, especially in the middle of the night.

Great spot at the bottom of the campground area with wonderful views of the surrounding landscape and close to the Window trailhead.

Chisos Basin Campground in Big Bend National Park is a neat place . We were able to see the sunset through what is called the window view. There is also a lodge for people that don't have camping equipment. The road to the campground is suitable for vehicles 30 feet and under.

I have been camping in Big Bend since the 1980’s. Just like always, the campground was clean and quiet. But just like the 80’s, no water, electricity, or showers in the basin.

The camp host was amazing. I was only able to get 3 separate campsites for my 3 day stay. He was able to move me to a single spot for all 3 days. This was my 6th trip and I finally got to see a momma bear and her cub.
