Loved it up in the basin. The views were spectacular. Nice little campground. Not very level so make sure you’re prepared for that!

Site 21 is a larger site with a flat area to set up your tent and shade! Some of the sites are rocky and uneven, but this one is not. Its also on the outer edge of the loop so felt more private but it is across the street from the site host.
Many of the sites are close together.

Best camping experience i’ve ever had. Great site, amazing stargazing, quiet despite a decent number of sites, water and bathrooms easily available, amazing proximity to the Chisos trailheads

The site was in good shape despite the drought. I was happy the water system was fixed just days before the trip, which opened this site for a reservation.

I made last minute reservation and campsite was ready for arrival with notification of reservation posted. No issues at all!

We absolutely loved this camping spot. It was a little on the smaller side but it was perfect for my wife and I, and one car. Beautiful surroundings!!!

They do a great job keeping the campground safe. Even with the water issues things went really well. I can't wait to go back. I hiked the Window Trail, Lost Mine, Emory Peak, Santa Elena and Hot Springs. I loved it all.
