Lake was pretty well down below useful level. The Osprey seemed to be feeding well. Site were a little close, but everything functioned. The bathroom was pretty dirty. Looked liked they may have swept it but never really cleaned it. The shower floor is like a funnel, very sloped towards the drain. It had a lot of hair in it and there were a lot of spider webs and bugs around the walls. The soap scum on the floor had obviously been there quite a long time.

Site was cut and nice. Public restrooms were clean. Definitely going back, hopefully during the summer.

The man at the gatehouse was not helpful. He explained that we had to reserve our site online. He wanted me to turn around and exit the park to do so. I was in a 40 foot motorhome pulling a Jeep. That was not even possible. So I pulled forward out of the way (there was no traffic) and made my reservation. Otherwise, our stay was ok. We are not thrilled with the gate being locked at 9:00, with no provision for vehicular access after that.

Quiet relaxation
We were here during the off-season (December). The views are amazing, and the campsites are well thought out and in excellent condition. This would be an excellent place to spend a week. We found the front office people easy to work with and a wealth of information. I expect during the busy season, check-in and check-out times are strictly enforced, like most state parks we visit. We will definitely be back again

Spacious, quiet, and clean. We had miles of walking on paved roads throughout the park. We hated to leave.
