What Guests Are Saying
Potters Creek Park is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with large, spacious sites and clean facilities, including highly praised bathrooms and showers. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the park's scenic views, making it a great spot for camping and exploring the Hill Country. While some areas of the park lack shade and the lake levels are low, overall experiences have been positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

This place is great, very quiet, well maintained, clean bathrooms. There are several trails in the area for hiking. Seeing deer grazing outside your windows in the morning is a perk. Other than the lake levels (which I can’t blame on the park) this is a wonderful place to stay. This was my second trip there and I’m planning more in the near future.

Restroom facilities were disgusting, cleaned during our stay but were still poor. Grass needed cutting badly was shin high.

Campsite was large and fairly private. Staff was friendly but bathrooms could have been cleaner.
We enjoyed our trip to Luckenbach and Greune. The old dance hall in Greune was very cool.

The campground was clean and gate folks were friendly. Sites are paved. I needed a mobile tech but they don’t really allow companies to come in until you get permission from the park ranger. Never seen this at a COE before. Too bad the lake is so low, not much access.

Sites are extremely large, well kept and very comfortable with nature. We enjoyed our daily visits from the deer, squirrel, and rabbits. The view was exceptional, and with all this we were still close to all the basic needs-dining, shopping, and attractions.

great campground - 5 loops with well spaced sites - asphalt sites and roads. Most sites have additional parking for an extra vehicle - a tow vehicle or a "towed" vehicle for a class A. Each loop had lots of space in theThe interior - it was mowed regularly and nicely kept. Our site had one lone tree back from the site, but each site has a cover over an oversize picnic table. The bathhouse ws obviously and could hve used some maintenance. It wa not well cleaned the day I took a shower there. The hand ddryers in both sides did not work. The lake was down quite a bit due to a long drought so could not assess hte swimming areas. Lots to do and see inthe Texas Hill Country but it is a 1/2 hours drive to almost anything.

Nice campground with lots of space between sites. Bathroom is OK, just a little dark. It was fun to see all of the deer and even a fox. Note that you can't camp in your car or truck if you are in a "tent" site. The website is not clear about this.
