What Guests Are Saying
Potters Creek Park is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with large, spacious sites and clean facilities, including highly praised bathrooms and showers. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the park's scenic views, making it a great spot for camping and exploring the Hill Country. While some areas of the park lack shade and the lake levels are low, overall experiences have been positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

We stayed in a beautiful site with a great view of the lake. The trees in the area are wonderful and mature.

Only 2 loops were open. Spacious, clean sites, needed weeding/mowing. Bathroom was a mess - probably because there was on one bathhouse to the entire loop of RVers & tenters. The lake was low, but fun to explore & paddle boarding & fishing.
Don’t arrive early!

We enjoyed a very nice, clean campsite with a great view of the lake. Amenities were well maintained and we had a fun 6-night stay. While we live in Pennsylvania, we would hope to return to the area again sometime.

There was no toilet paper and grass was high throughout the camp sites.
The personnel at the check in stated she was aware and that the cleaning crew had not come.

Very nice park. We enjoyed our stay. However…..treatment for fire ants was needed. Fortunately we had some of our own to apply. Weeds, especially Thistle was intrusive and needed attention.

This park was great as always. The Camp Host were very friendly. The only thing that was not good. Was the grass at the camp site needed to be cut due to the weeds were tall.

we were only there over night. It was rainy and cold. We look forward to coming back when we have more time and the weather is better.

We love Potter's Creek and camp here almost exclusively. Unfortunately, this trip was not our best. It was during spring break, so that does bring out lots of people. Our main complaint was with one site that did not keep their dogs on a leash. Every time we walked our dogs, their dogs would run out to the street and try to attack our dogs and us. On more than one occasion, we reiterated the park's pet policy to the adults at the site. We reported the site to the folks at the front gate 3 different times. Nothing changed the whole week we were there. The dogs were allowed to run loose the entire time. This is an unsafe situation, and the park is lucky that no one got hurt. Other than this one issue, we had a great time.

The 9:00 pm gate lock with no access code is very restrictive. I will not return to Potters Creek as long as this is the policy.
