What Guests Are Saying
Potters Creek Park is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with large, spacious sites and clean facilities, including highly praised bathrooms and showers. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the park's scenic views, making it a great spot for camping and exploring the Hill Country. While some areas of the park lack shade and the lake levels are low, overall experiences have been positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

We enjoyed the facility and the volunteer workers were very helpful. However, on the last few days we Weston stay, we received an email telling us we had to leave the facility that day. It’s not the staff’s fault but a lousy system. We had no where to go.

Very nice park. If you’re here for the lake you’ll probably be disappointed since it’s so low. Park is well maintained and quiet.

We thought the park was lovely, quiet and close to home! Only 2 loops were open which was disappointing since it takes half off usual roads for biking. Restrooms and showers were immaculate.

Pros: Spacious campsites. Multiple bathroom/shower houses. Water view. Bike & walking space. Near town for dining & shopping. Boating in area. Wildlife mostly deer, birds & armadillo.
Cons: Cell coverage very by camp site. Limited shade parking. Limited hot water during showers.

We were staying at Potters Creek during the ice storm this year. We appreciate the grounds crew helping with water concerns and freezing temperatures. They also accommodated our request to move sites due to tree damage concerns with the impending ice storm. The crew at Potters Creek are amazing.

Site 71 was nice and level once you've backed up a bit of a slope. We were here for 14 days through "icemaggedon"! Water had to be left on in the site and at the bath houses. Initially they were going to close them but never did.
The toilets and showers were very clean. Good hot water and plenty of room to move around. These are some of the cleanest we've encountered lately.
Lots of animals around. A lot of deer. One night there were 10 or so bucks hanging around. We saw foxes, skunk, and feral cats as well.

Loved our stay, even in the midst of a polar blast. Staff was great at communication, and thanks for keeping the bathhouses open during the freeze. All was clean and orderly as well. The only suggestion for improvement I can think of is whennit's time to replace bulbs in the outdoor lighting at the bath house to please find some that point down instead of out toward campers.
